Ms. Lin Li, Director of East Asia, ZDHC Foundation, presented her report of The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme
Mr. Lin Li's report is divided into five parts.
Firstly, she introduced the background, vision and mission of ZDHC. We will advance towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals through cllaborative engagement, standard setting and implementation. ZDHC plan has been supported by more and more signatory brands since 2016.
Secondly, she expounded the holistic approach of sustainable chemical management, including the management of input, process and output. A milestone in the holistic approach was the concept of input, that was, the input disabled harmful chemicals, and the ZDHC gateway also provided a test platform for the input enterprises.
Thirdly, she presented ZDHC Academy and The ZDHC Implementation HUB. ZDHC Academy provided the global, go-to training platform for sustainable chemical management and ZDHC tools in the textile, apparel, leather and footwear industry. The ZDHC Implementation HUB authorized qualified consulting enterprises to prvide consulting service for the textile, apparel, leather and footwear industries.
